The steam train ride that wasn't!

We had planned to be part of Goulburn's history this weekend - taking a steam train ride aboard an old carriage first class from Goulburn to nearby Marulan.  Unfortunately there was no steam - instead a diesel engine pulled us along - not quite the same! 

It was interesting seeing Goulburn from a different angle however while sipping a cup of tea and eating sammies and cakes - but I did miss the sound of a steam engine....

We only have 2 weeks left here before we move on.  The weather has improved over the last week or so and we have had some lovely sunny days.  We brought a generator so we are now better set up for free camping and have plotted a path from Canberra to Sydney along the coast in free camps - it will be lovely to be by the beach once again!
