Next stop Galway where we had an early lunch. By the time we got here the weather had turned nasty so we spent most of our time keeping undercover. I was really surprised to hear so many people including children speaking gaelic - I had no idea it was so well used.

We then drove across The Burren which is a limestone plateau. There were lots of dry stone walls here, and very narrow lanes which proved a challenge for our driver at times. As we drove closer towards the Cliffs of Moher the fog really set in so by the time we got there you could hardly see infront of yourself. Luckily they have a great visitors centre with lots of photos and videos etc to show what we couldn't see. They had a fantastic 3d virtual experience of the cliffs which was great. They would be fantastic to see on a beautiful day.

Tonight we had a medievsl feast at Bunratty Castle. The entertainment was great and the food plentiful. We have found the UK so far to be well set up for tourists and there are plenty here
