We decided to join the optional outing last night to Dunmore village. The village was a lovely seaside community with several old thatched houses - including the pub itself. The community was really friendly all waving out to us as we drove round in the bus. We had a local telling us about the village - as usual he was a very funny guy.
When we got to the pub it was packed with locals. They had had a christening in the village that day so the locals had been in the pub all avo.
Another local sang some songs while we got drinking. Mal and one of the ozzie guys were in fine form - Mal got up dancing the jig at one stage and was also busy trying to jack up the young girl on the bus (traveling with her mum) with one of the very good looking locals.
In the bus on the way back the ozzie guy changed in to a leprechaun outfit and had us all in fits of laughter dancing round the bus.
